I will invite a handful of music industry pros that I consider friends to be picked up by ROCKFORCE ONE, on our way from Florida to the West coast. We'll stop in Texas for a demo of the latest DOLBY Atmos studio I have built last year, and then we'll have a friendly forum discussion about the Status Quo of AI in PROFESSIONAL music production today, and where this main technological development may go. And what that means for professionals who now have to compete with 1-click music apps, etc.
I believe that AI is here to stay, and just like digital audio processing was seen as some kind of evil by many, when it first came out, AI is seeing a lot of push-back from professionals.
But... what if AI didn't suck for professionals? How would that have to look and feel? Is there a way to use the technology while still being in charge of the results? And being able to apply changes based on personal preferences or customer feedback?
I am positive we will be able to bring some fresh ideas to NAMM 2025 and beyond.
Stay tuned!
Dirk & the new ROCKFORCE AI Team
